Monitoring & Load Management

Distributed Energy Neural Network Integration System (DENNIS)

The purpose of this research is to demonstrate a neural network control system for managing small distributed generation. This project is developing a single unit controller and demonstrating the ability of an aggregated community of distributed generators, managed by an intelligent "neighborhood controller," to meet individual power requirements and operate as a virtual single large generator to sell power or other services to a utility.
