Monitoring & Load Management

This Program Area aims at enabling the distribution system to provide timely fault detection and response, economic dispatch of all available assets, and transparency of market and pricing operations in electricity delivery for customer choice. The scope encompasses integration of sensing, communications, information analysis, and control technologies for distribution fault detection/protection/control and for peak load reduction.
